Using insights from social research, this workshop will explore some hard truths that we need to create necessary change in our life groups, churches, and environments.

2023 JNS - Ed Song - "In the Beginning: Trauma, Deprivation, and the Roots of Poverty"
Ed’s research focuses on issues in moral and political philosophy, especially related to distributive justice, inequality, political ideologies, and state legitimacy. More recently, however, his interests have transitioned from abstract questions about justice to more practical public policy issues, especially regarding healthcare, poverty, and the debilitating effects of chronic stress, deprivation, and trauma for child development. He shared some valuable insights with us at the 2023 Summit. The resources mentioned in the video may be accessed here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p3KEb5BL22WFBpEWQsJZdCFePGGfVJ96
